August Currently

I know I am a little late on this, but here you go!  I am linking up with Farley in
Oh'Boy 4th grade for the August Currently.  Our summer days are numbered now!!  Enjoy! :)

I know I broke a rule and posted 4 I hope I don't get in trouble with the teacher! LOL  I team teach and I teach Reading and Writing so I have 40 students.  I can't have all 40 share the same desk and so I use those magazine files for them to put their reading and writing journals, supplies and books in there.  I need a new desk organizer because my old one broke as I was packing at the end of the year.  Borders:  well you can never have too many borders.  Finally a Cricut Machine!  I always borrow my friend's Cricut Machine and I so want one of my own!  I am finally going to get one in a couple of weeks for my birthday and I can't wait!

  2. Congrats on being pinned! It's such a cool feeling. :)

I'm right there with you on the exercise routine... I actually wrote about losing weight on my currently, too. lol.

This is my first visit to your blog, but I'll definitely be back, since I just noticed you're in Texas, too! {I'm always looking for other TX teachers, since we're one of the only ones who didn't join the CCSS...ugh.} Hope you have a great year!

    1. It is a cool feeling! I am not too sure about the CCSS craziness I've heard good things and not so good things about it, but we will see. I look forward to networking with you. Hope you are having a great summer!

  3. I have 50 students and I'm thinking of ordering magazine files for storage, too. Too much clutter when they come in and out! Glad I found you through the link-up!

    1. Do you have an IKEA store close by? Those magazine files are really cheap there or check them out on line. They are cardboard and will probably on last one school year, but you can reinforce them with scrapbook paper and cover with clear contact paper so they will last longer.
